City Clerk/Administrator

 

Welcome to the Administration Home Page.  The City Clerk is one of the Executive Officers of the City appointed by the City Commission.  The Commission expanded the title in 1986 to include Administrator to more closely monitor the daily operations.  The Clerk/Administrator works closely with the Commission, the City Attorney, and the Department Heads to insure the efficient operation of the City.     

 

 In addition to general oversight responsibilities, the City Clerk/Administrator directly oversees the Administration Department. The Administration Department is divided into three major areas.  The first is the Clerk's Office, which is responsible for all of the City's records, oversight of the City elections and assisting the Commissioners and the citizens of Belleview.   The Finance Office is responsible financial reporting and record keeping to insure the effective and efficient use of the City's fiscal resources.  Finally, the  Human Resource/Risk Management Office provides assistance in all areas of human resource and risk management for the City.  While not officially designated departments, each area is distinct and separate in nature with specific standards and regulations.
